Rift Guide – Unofficial Rift Leveling Guide & Strategy Site

GO FROM LEVEL 1-50 NOW!: The new version of Rift Supremacy JUST came out, and is the fastest guide to level 50 GUARANTEED. If you play Rift and you don’t have this guide yet, there is something wrong with you. You can get it Here. Just Updated on!

Hold on to your lug-nuts, this Rift Guide site is about to rock your socks off and set your pants on fire. To set things straight, this isn’t some biased promotional bullcrap site that is promoting one guide and bashing all the others. This site is the most honest Rift Guide review site you’ll find…ever.

That’s because the people who own and run this site (My friend Alex and I) are not working for any of the guides or that kind of nonsense. We’re just two HUGE fans of Rift and decided to make a review and tips site for the newly launched AMAZING MMORPG.

Now that we’ve cleared that up, I’d like to give a brief review of the following Rift guides based on our experiences with them, and formulate our best choice. We have read through every Rift Guide available online to our knowledge, and are here to provide you with smart analysis to help you make your decision on which guide to get. Let’s get started.

1. Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide (Read Our Full Review Here)

Xerxes Guide is listed first here for a reason. It’s our number one choice. The guide is the most detailed Rift leveling guide I’ve personally ever read. It contains an impressive number of maps and screenshots to guide you through quests. A few of the other guides have screenshots, but none have nearly as many as Xerxes.

Xerxes Rift Mastery guide has a ton of insider information about souls and callings. Some other guides just have beginner information with a few intermediate or advanced information thrown in, but clearly Xerxes has experience playing all of the classes. His recommendations on stats, soul builds, soul pairings, equipment, etc. are invaluable. I truly believe this is the most professional, expert guide you can get for Rift at this time.

This guide also has a lot of bonuses: professions, PvP, dungeons, platinum making , puzzles and a heck of a lot more. Xerxes guide stands out from all the other guides at this point, and that’s all there is to it.

2. Rift Domination Strategy Guide (Read Our Full Review Here)

The Rift Domination Strategy Guide is the only Rift guide I have come across that can actually compete against the Xerxes guide, and in my opinion is a close second. The guide has a dungeon section which is done incredibly well, a leveling guide, complete with detailed maps, tons of charts, and my personal favorite, the video walkthrough. This is what sets the Rift Domination Guide apart from the other guides. You are able to watch the gameplay, and and mimic what he does. It is a perfect guide for leveling, and having video walkthroughs makes it the easiest guide to follow along with.

3. Kalmar’s Rift Leveling Guide (Read Our Full Review Here)

Kalmar’s Rift guide does include step-by-step quest guides which can’t be said for all the other guides, but at the moment the guide is incomplete. Currently the Kalmar guide only provides a leveling guide for levels 1-19 for the Guardian faction.

Maybe in the future Kalmar’s Rift Leveling Guide will be updated with more complete and useful information, but at the current point, it’s just an incomplete rift guide for one faction.

Expired Guide

4. Rift Blueprint (Read Our Full Review Here)

Rift Blueprint definitely has enough content to make it a good guide. But the content included and guides aren’t very detailed or useful. It has a ton of beginner information but it simply isn’t making my cut.

The Rift Blueprint Leveling Guide is not technically a leveling guide either. Rather it is a few notes about doing quests and rifts. The most useful part of the guide is the comprehensive dungeons guide which gives you both locations and boss strategies, but so does Xerxes Rift guide. Honestly if you wan’t to give the guide a try but you wouldn’t see me paying for it again.

5. KFGuides Rift Leveling Guide

KFGuides is a very decent Rift leveling guide. It contains screenshots and maps, along with quest info that is outlines nicely and very easy to follow. But here’s the kicker. It’s only for the Defiant faction.

Additionally the KFGuides Rift Guide doesn’t have any additional bonuses. Most of the guides they have can be viewed for free anyway, and aren’t very useful (mostly puzzles and maps).

Expired Guide

6. Fero’s Rift Strategy Guide

This guide is very similar to Rift Blueprint. It really doesn’t include the “secrets” it promises or many useful tips at all.

Fero’s guide has a lot of beginners guides: rifts, souls, equipment, auction house, PvP, dungeons, and a leveling guide. The only unique content it has is how it says where it includes links to recommended builds when it is talking about souls. The leveling guide included is literally  one page long. The dungeon guides are useful, but again can be found in other Rift guides with more detail.

 7. Soul Searchers Rift Defiant Leveling Guide

A Rift leveling guide made for the Defiant and Guardian Faction that you can buy for 19.99. (19.99 is the Holiday pricing for now.) You must pay 19.99 for Defiant or Guardian but you can buy both for the price of 24.99.

Ten months of research was put into over 1oo pages, maps and photos covering over 700 quest. Every zone for both Factions Defiant and Guardian covered. Each zone is broken into several easy to follow sections.

Rift Supremacy Review

Rift Supremacy Guide Review

Many Rift leveling guides have come out since the game’s launch, but Xerxes Mastery Guide continued to dominate as the fastest and best Rift guide available. Now, a new guide tries to throw the Xerxes guide off of its mighty throne; this guide is appropriately named Rift Supremacy.

If you are looking for the greatest, fastest Rift leveling guide available, look no further because you’ve found it. It’s frustrating and no fun if you are running around with no idea what to do, slowly leveling while your friends surpass you with their high leveled gear and riches. With this guide you will be able to join the ranks of the most elite Rift players.

If you want to see what I think about this new guide read below for my complete Rift Supremacy review where I teach you exactly what you are getting with the guide and I then have Rift Supremacy battle it out with the number one guide available now.

What am I getting with Rift Supremacy?

First off, Rift Supremacy is the real deal. I love how you get both a written guide with maps/screenshots, and an HD video step-by-step walkthrough with tons of useful information that you see first-hand. The written copy and HD videos are extremely detailed and can be copied exactly with the exact same results – a mighty level 50 character with an amazing build and great gear.

Rift Supremacy Video Walkthrough Review

I’ll go over the HD video walkthroughs first and move onto to written section in a bit. This part absolutely blew me away. If the guide came with just the videos I would still be extremely happy. The guide’s website says that the videos cover EVERY aspect of the game, but everyone knows it is impossible to cover EVERY aspect. It does, however, come extremely close to EVERY aspect.

The videos are playable on both PC and Mac, so you don’t have to worry about which computer you are using. PC uses Windows Media Player or Quicktime and Mac can use Quicktime. For me, on my computer, none of the videos were laggy or slow, but the speed may depend on your computer software.

There are really three main parts of the video guides: The Leveling Guide, The Rifts and Invasions Guide, and The Rift Builds Guide.

In each of the separate sections he talks about everything he does while the video is playing, so if you have your volume turned up you can learn a little more. Don’t worry though, the volume isn’t needed. I played through this guide the second time without the volume up and I didn’t really notice a difference. One thing that I did like about having the sound on was being able to have it play in the background and listening while you complete quests and run around. Playing the video in the background might work better for more advanced players because they will probably know more of the names of people and cities than someone who just started playing.

I’ll go over everybody’s favorite first, the Leveling Guide. The leveling portion really focuses on detail and allows you to watch the video and then copy exactly what he does in the video. He includes both the Guardian and Defiant walkthroughs in his video leveling guide. Personally, I have tried each side at least twice so far, each with a different calling, and I have been extremely satisfied with how quickly it has taken me to get to from 1 to 50. If I had to pick which side had the better guide, I would have to go Guardian, just because I am bias towards them. Don’t get me wrong the Defiants do have a strong guide that will level you just as quickly as the Guardians, but I just don’t like playing as a Defiant. The callings really didn’t matter as far as quickness to level goes either, which I found kind of surprising. I am probably the weakest at playing a rogue, yet I leveled second fastest with a rogue. Each calling completed the guide within an hour or so of each other.

Most of the time he will open the map up and point out where specific quests or items are located so that you won’t be running around like a chicken with your head cut off if you aren’t familiar with a certain area. He shows/tells you which are the best quests to take, items to grab, rewards to pick, and which quests are just a waste of your time.

Sometimes the video will be sped up, like when he is walking to a certain place, or when tackling a quest in which you need to kill 10 or whatever mobs. Basically, if something is repetitive, he will speed it up after a few minutes to save you some time. I liked this a lot because he can do what you can do in 10-15 minutes in 3 minutes of video.

The only minor setback to the video leveling guide is that you have to keep leaving the game to watch the next part. What I usually, and I’ve found out this works nicely is, I memorize what he does in about 2-3 minutes, so that I don’t have to keep leaving the game to watch the videos. I only leave the game to watch the next few minutes, or if I get confused at a certain part. Of course, this is only a minor setback. You will still level faster than you have before.

The Rift video leveling guides he includes in Rift Supremacy are very close to flawless, in my opinion. These videos will absolutely crush the Xerxes guide in simplicity, swiftness, and information provided. Of course, the Xerxes guide is a written guide, so that’s like comparing apples and oranges. We will compare the written parts in a minute.

The next section I’ll go over is the Rifts and Invasions Guide. This is a small section of video that teaches you how to dominate Rifts and Invasions. These are super fun aspects of the game, but some Rifts or Invasions can be extremely challenging. They can also be used to level very quickly and are nice breaks from doing quests. This section will give you a few strategies that you can use to increase your skill, so that you don’t end up looking like road kill.

The last section of the video guide is the Rift Builds Guide. This section taught me a lot about the different builds for different callings. There are a bunch of different builds for each calling and these videos go over them really well. Some of the builds are used for leveling, some of them are used for damage and healing, and some of them are PvP and Raiding builds. I’m always playing PvP, so I didn’t learn much here, but I was extremely pleased with the raiding builds because I really never go on raids. I tried a few of the builds out and felt like a raiding master.

The way he goes about teaching you about the Rift Build videos is he tells you which level you should be before you put the point in. You can pause the video until you reach the next level, so you can put the next point in. If it gets confusing, you can just check out the written Rift Builds Guide. They are the same thing.

They even give you a little sneak peak on the guide’s website, so that you can see how the videos work. One of them is an Assassin build and the other is a snippet of the Guardian leveling guide. He also gives you a pretty good look at one of the characters he recently made using his guide. You even get to see his rare mount, Swift Copper Armored Warhorse.

Rift Supremacy Written Guide

Personally, I prefer the HD video guides over the written guides, but I did use this at certain points. The written guide comes with a ton of different information on Rift. Most of which you can find out if you use the videos, but sometimes it may be easier for you to follow along with the written section.

The leveling guide is jammed pack full of Defiant and Guardian leveling information and color screenshots and maps. There is a map on almost every page and they point out exactly which quests to take, where they are located, and when to complete them. By “when to complete them” I mean that the guide will sometimes tell you to hold a completed quest until you finish others. That way you aren’t wasting time running back and forth between areas wasting your valuable time. I was impressed with the organization of the written guides. I know some guides have trouble keeping everything organized, which sucks because a newbie is already confused, you don’t want to confuse them more.

Rift is a massive game so naturally there are a lot of different ways to do something. This section of Rift Supremacy easily takes care of that. This guide was so easy to read for both Defiants and Guardians,  that anyone, even newbies, can follow along with it perfectly. To make it even easier to follow, if I was using the written section of the guide I would play in window mode, so that I could easily go back and forth between the two.

Also included in the written section is the Rift Builds Guide. These are literally the ultimate builds for each calling. You will be extremely happy whether you leveling, raiding, or PvPing. I was really pleased with the endgame builds that came with the guide. I use my own custom PvP build, but I tried a few of the ones in the guide out and they worked pretty well. Having the right build is pretty important when making a high leveled character. The builds are the same in the videos as they are in the written section, so if you are confused about anything you read or see, you can use the other build guide as a reinforcement.

I would say the written part of Rift Supremacy was just as good as the written part of the Xerxes guide in terms of usability, organization, and detail. Both of the guides included about the same things, with small unnoticeable differences here and there. I would have to say that I liked the organization of builds better in Rift Supremacy. It just seemed a little easier to follow.

Another, yes another, great thing about this product is that you get unlimited free updates. If in the future, there are expansions or changes to Rift, he will update his guide to the newest version absolutely free.

How does this guide compare to other top Rift leveling guides?

I actually wanted to know this myself, so I tested it against the Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide. My brother, Zach, and I both started Guardian Warriors on the same day, same PvP server, at the same time, each using a different guide. I started out using the guide that I had been using since launch, which was Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide because he wanted to try out the new guide, Rift Supremacy. To make sure that we would be playing the same times we played in the same room, and logged on and off when the other logged on or off. We made it a rule that we needed to have the same played time, plus or minus 5 minutes.

We started leveling at the same rate basically because I’ve been following Xerxes guide for so many different characters, so I kind of knew it by heart, plus I’m amazing as a Warrior. After about level 12 he started pulling away from me. It was weird because I was doing a few quests and all the sudden he was level 14. The worst part was he took the time to watch the videos the guide came with, while I continued to quest, plus he only has seven characters at level 50. I have 14 level 50 characters! I had my screen in window mode, so I could check my guide much faster. I ended up being level 17 after the first day and he ended up being level 20.

The next few days we got to work on our characters. I was getting annoyed by the level difference between our two newly made characters, but I was still determined to catch up and prove that Xerxes was still the best Rift leveling guide.  However, he was leveling faster than ever, and I was falling further and further behind. We was inching closer and closer to 50 and I was getting pressured to increase my level. As soon as he hit 48 I knew there was no competition. I was only level 40 and knew he was not going to be slipping up any time before 50. He finally reached 50 in under a week of our competition. We didn’t sit there and play for 24 hours every day either; we took breaks, went out, and continued our social life uninterrupted. He just had to make time for that precious girlfriend of his. ;-)

After our experiment, I thought that maybe he was just a smarter player than me, even though he has less level 50 characters than I do and hasn’t been playing as long. So, I asked him if he was down for another competition, this time I got to use the new Rift Supremacy Guide and he stuck with the old Xerxes Mastery Guide. He told me no matter what I used I could never beat him, and it was on! We started Guardian Warriors again to make sure that the experiment was the same and stuck with the same rules as before, neither of us could play while the other was on.

This time we didn’t start leveling at the same rate and I was destroying him from the start. I had no competition while leveling this new Warrior and reached level 50 before he was even 40. I thought that this guide was the most amazing guide that I had ever followed. I have tons of high leveled Warriors and yet I learned some new, more improved builds than I have been using with my previous Warriors. I was stunned at the awesomeness of the HD video step-by-step walkthroughs. I leveled extremely fast and I took time to watch the videos. My brother did the exact same thing, so imagine how fast we would have leveled if we didn’t take our time to watch the videos and just played in windowed mode and read the written guide!

I still wasn’t done experimenting with this guide. I have been faithful to the Xerxes Mastery Guide since the launch of Rift and I could not be swayed so easily. Xerxes guide is really newb-friendly, which was how I learned to be so good at Rift. It was also one of the best things about it, so I wanted to see if Rift Supremacy was just as newb-friendly, or even newb-friendlier. I grabbed my other little brother, Austin, who is only 13 years old and extremely impatient when it comes to playing video games. He will get extremely bored fast if he isn’t winning or constantly making progress. He had never played Rift before because he is too obsessed with Runescape to play a real MMORPG, which if you are impatient I don’t understand how you can play so much Runescape. That game bores the hell out of me. He didn’t want to try it, but I finally convinced him into the experiment.

He started a rogue because he thought they looked awesome and to my surprise he figured the game out fairly quickly using the guide. In just one day he was level 17, the same level I was when I was using Xerxes guide. We played for around the same amount of time too. About a week and a half after he started his rogue he was a 50. He also had a pretty good build and was doing extremely good in PvP. I believe with this experiment I did two things: 1) Proved that the Rift Supremacy was extremely newb-friendly, and 2) Converted my brother from a little kids MMORPG to an awesome MMORPG.

So, those are my experiments for the Rift Supremacy guide, and I believe I really put it to the test. As I compared it with the Xerxes Guide, Rift Supremacy really showed me the remarkable potential that it has to both advanced and beginner players. Even I learned some new skills, even after leveling up 14 different characters. And I thought I knew everything about Rift! I have now have switched over from Xerxes Mastery Guide to the Rift Supremacy Leveling Guide.

R.I.P Xerxes Mastery Guide.

Rift Rogue Stats

GO FROM LEVEL 1-50 NOW!: The new version of Rift Supremacy JUST came out, and is the fastest guide to level 50 GUARANTEED. If you play Rift and you don’t have this guide yet, there is something wrong with you. You can get it Here. Just Updated on!

This is the Rift Rogue stats guide I am going to go over the most relevant things about the Rogue calling so you know that stats you’re going to have to maximize and which weapons you should pick.

The Traditional Stats For Non-Tankers

Most MMORPGS are similar when it comes to equipment stats. Most of them have strength, endurance, intelligence, and wisdom. Intelligence and Wisdom are good for casters, but are not helpful for the Rogue.

Strength: This increases the attack power of your Rogue, and also your critical hit rate, but it isn’t as good as dexterity is. It is similar to stat, but it’s really not worth going out of your way to claim.

Dexterity: This is a stat that needs to be maximized by all Rogues. It increases the attack power of your Rogue, improves dodge rate, increases critical hit rate, and of course improves parry rate as well. This stat alone increases the rogue damage, and makes Rogues crate more. It also makes them take less damage. this is the most important one, and you should focus on maximizing it.

Endurance: This increases your max HP. It is useful, but it isn’t mandatory on for every piece.

When you’re talking about pieces of equipment maximizing dexterity should be your first goal. I view strength and endurance as equal, but less important.

Wearing whatever piece has the most dexterity over another piece is the best in my opinion. (Not including hit, melee crate, and other stats that are not traditional.)

When the dexterity of two items are equal, you can look at which one has the highest endurance or strength. Wearing a plus 8 endurance with a plus 10 dexterity piece over a plus 7 strength and +10 dexterity piece is a good example. Since endurance and strength are equally important and 8 is obviously higher than 7, the item with the larger stat piece wins.

All of this is liable to change, but this is just here to help people with picking out gear when they’re trying to level up. For soloing endurance is very good, but later on you might try to avoid as much endurance.

Physical Hit, Physical Crit, and Attack Power

Physical crit and Attack power are great stats to keep an eye out for on equipment.  Low quality pieces of equipment will not normally have this and you will have to look for rare and epic items in order to do this.

You might be thinking back to World of Warcraft when we start talking about physical hit. Well it isn’t even close to as useful for leveling up with in Rift. Rogue damage come from different specials, and not auto-attacking. I’m sure this will change by end-game. Yellow damage however will most likely remain the large part of Rogue damage.

So, you’re going to want physical hit, but there comes a point where you’re getting too much of it. If you miss a Whit attack, don’t worry, it’s not that bad. But if you miss yellow attacks, then you will want to get more +hit.

There are a good amount of Rogues that have talents that will increase hit. Having a lot of +hit talents is good because you will need less +hit from the gear. You win’t need very much leveling up, so remember that. You are going to need more of it when you face mobs of a higher level like when you do dungeons, end game.

Tanks

Everything that I’ve gone over is only for Bards and DPS Rogues. Tanking Rogues will benefit from going with these stats.

•Endurance
•Parry
•Dodge
•Strength
•Dexterity

Endurance: You’re going to need a ton of this and it will be your best Rift stat for a Rogue. Rogues dodge more hits and also take more damage per hit when they are tanking, which leads to them taking huge damage all at once and not a lot of damage at other times. Having a lot of health will help you because your healer can react.

Parry and Dodge: Great stats to use as Rogues by nature have a high mitigation rate. You can reduce the impact of physical attacks by boosting this more. If you pick up the Strike Back talents which requires 7 points in Blade Dancer, you can increase your threat generation.

Strength: Having a good piece of gear is nice to have with some strength. This is a stat which comes second to Dexterity and Endurance, but if it is laying around you should get it to boost your threat.

Dexterity: This natural Rogue tanking stat which increases your damage and also boosts mitigation by improving both parry and dodge.

Rift Rogue Stats

When you are leveling up, you will do good by focusing on getting Strength and Endurance for you secondary stats and Dexterity as your main stat. You will eventually get higher levels and get better gear so this will end up changing however.

Remember you can never have too much health if you are a Rogue tank. For more information, check out our recommended leveling guide, Rift Supremacy.

Why Is Xerxes Guide So Incredible?

Nothing compares to the Xerxes Guide. It has outsold all the other Rift guides for one reason, it’s the best. It is the best guide for a ton of reasons.

Here’s What Alex (A Rift Warrior) thought of Xerxes Guide:

Ok, the following is my honest review of Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide compared to all the other Rift guides I’ve read to date. The first thing I have to tell you is that Xerxes guide is both a Rift leveling guide as well as a strategy guide, just to get things straight.

Just about everything that is known about Rift so far is written into Xerxes Rift guide. I was really surprised when I began reading this guide at how fast something this comprehensive could be written about an MMORPG that came out months ago. The information in this guide is the kind of information isn’t as abundant in other Rift guides.

The Xerxes strategy guide is full of many chapters. Most of the other guides I’ve read only contained basic information. Xerxes covers just about everything that the other Rift guides cover in the Rift Beginners Guide chapter. The other chapters are much more detailed and extremely useful: rifts, user interface, dungeons guides, and game mechanics to name a few. The dungeons guide I have found to be very useful because they are so scattered around in the game currently, and there’s no specific resource that you can read verified, valid boss strategies.

The rift leveling guide in Xerxes Master Guide is by far the most detailed I have read so far. It lists all the quests, and explains how to compete each individual one. The leveling guide also lists which order is most efficient for doing the quests. Maps and screenshots are all included.

Lastly I’ll mention that Xerxes includes a ton of tips, tricks, and things you just have to know for callings and souls which are incredibly detailed. It goes without saying that the author has played these classes, and his tips are extremely beneficial.

To sum things up, the Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide is currently the most complete, detailed, and comprehensive leveling and Rift guide that you will find for Rift. If I would have found a downside to this guide I would have included it here, but there simply isn’t one.

Here’s what people are saying about the Xerxes Guide:

“If you love Rift, then you will love Xerxes Guide. It does not matter if you want to be the best in PvP and dungeons or just level up quickly, Xerxes has all the information you need to dominate Rift.”

-Justin From Utah

“I know if I paid $37 for a flimsy, incomplete, 30-page guide, I would feel scammed. Save yourself the headache and heartache and stick to Xerxes as it is the only guide I have seen that delivers on its promises and is actually worth the investment.”

-Greg From New York

“It covers each aspect and also gets updated from time to time, especially when there is a game change.”

-Colleen From Georgia

“You don’t need a leveling guide to get to 50 but the proof is there for sure – it’s definitely the fastest way to get to level 50 – hands down.”

-Rob From Australia

Rift Warrior Souls Guide

Rift Warrior Souls Guide

GO FROM LEVEL 1-50 NOW!: The new version of Rift Supremacy JUST came out, and is the fastest guide to level 50 GUARANTEED. If you play Rift and you don’t have this guide yet, there is something wrong with you. You can get it Here. Just Updated on!

The Rift warrior souls guide states that warriors may be both tanks as well as soul that can deal with damages. This will depend on the warrior souls equipped. The warriors wear plate and uses weapons, shields and other special weapons.

The Warriors deals with tactics, weapons, and combat to wage battle in the Rift. Each warrior can fight in close quarters, to accept a blow and inflict a mortal wound as retaliation. They can incorporate magical techniques against elemental forces. The following is the Rift warrior souls guide:

Champion

The Champion warrior soul of Rift has similarities to the warrior class of the World of Warcraft. Their abilities likened with the Raging bull, this is a combined capabilities of charge and intercept.

Beastmaster

Beastmaster is the uncommon warrior soul. His skills are the combination of traditional warrior capabilities and pet skills. The Beastmaster uses spell to beckon their pets that can be the focus of their combat stats improvement. This warrior soul may not be recommended as primary class, but useful to access pets.

Reaver

The Reaver acquires the least alleviation talents according to the Rift warrior souls guide. He tends to obtain more talents as possible in order to control several enemies. In view of this, Reaver is excellent in speed runs to small-group dungeons because the player can tackle bunch of enemies at one time. It stands out at AoE tanking. Healing and power dots can be acquired at low levels. It is observed that low-level DPS warriors can put in six-points to Reaver for the soul sickness and some healing.

Paladin

A Paladin does extremely well by utilizing a shield to ward off incoming assaults and get back with overpowering counterattacks. It capitalizes in tanking lone targets as well as from out of the other Rift warrior souls. Paladin therefore, takes the majority of mitigation talents. These talents are the “extra threat”, spell mitigation, and large number of physical damage mitigation. It can be assumed that the mainstream of tanks will cover majority of their scores in Paladin.

Warlord

Warlord is on defensive stance of the game. However, its specialty is buffing raid members. Although buffs are raid-wide, it is somewhat weak. Therefore, Warlords cannot work with small groups, and effective only in bigger raids.  A lone Warlord utilized in full raids can off-tank while giving the raid over six-percent physical as well as damage rating of one-hundred percent.

Paragon

The Paragon uses two weapons to devastate the enemies. He has the ability to create damages consistently. Paragon is another DPS-oriented Rift warrior soul. This spec is great leveler once reaching the eighteenth level. The downside of Paragon is the lack of mobility by other classes. Therefore, reaching the full 51-point class spec is ideal for PvE; however, it becomes a target in PvP.

Riftblade

Riftbale soul can shoot lances of stone, wind, and fire to the opponent. It has a stronger range of capabilities comparing with other Rift warriors. The damages Riftblade inflict are elemental. This unusual warrior deals with damages through magic. This makes it a tough support class to other DPS-oriented Rift warriors. It can also help the tanks in dishing out damages using spells. This class has two advantages. The first is, its damages created surpass armor, making Riftblade superior choice of players with purpose of leveling up. Second, it shares abilities to compliment other classes. Riftblade can be utilized as second or third warrior soul in the Rift warrior souls guide.

Void Knight

The Void Knight gets their strength through hostile spells absorption. It is the best soul for tanking the magical enemies, but considered the weakest among the classes. The mitigation talents given this class may not be that remarkable. However, it can deal with large level of damages to casters.

The features presented in the Rift warrior souls guide helps in making a decision regarding the combination. On the other hand, the systematic guide will provide the assurance that players can perform their best in the game. This soul is responsible in making the enemies take more damages and provide help to allies in dealing with their damages. One of the desirable abilities of Archon is the mental flare that is essential for raids. The Archon flowing sand capability is a good escape move, and only requires six-point investment, which makes Archon a best grab as third Mage for PvP orientation. It is not practical to consider this soul as main spec when playing solo.  However, a player can save the role for level 50, assuming he wants participation in the end-game content.

Necromancer

Necromancers inflict damages with the synergy of their pets. The Skeleton Stalwart is best pet and handles threats well. With the Dominator, the player can have access to Neural and Transmogrify Prod, which are superior abilities. The Transmogrify is useful in the game’s crowd-control and essential in running to dungeons, PvP, and solo Rifts. The Neural Prod is responsible for casting instant spell to create great damage. It is best for kiting or when the opponent is dying. Dominator can be regarded as the third spec Mage.

Chloromancer

The Chloromancer is the uncommon class with the ability to heal and deal with life damages. With the use of “Role” feature, Chloromancer off-specs can be instrumental for switching into healing mode whenever necessary.

Rift Warrior Builds

GO FROM LEVEL 1-50 NOW!: The new version of Rift Supremacy JUST came out, and is the fastest guide to level 50 GUARANTEED. If you play Rift and you don’t have this guide yet, there is something wrong with you. You can get it Here. Just Updated on!

The Warrior is slowly becoming one of the most common and popular classes in Rift. Currently, the class lets you choose between eight different souls. You can decide whether to deal damage or to tank. This Rift Warrior build guide will help you out.

Getting a fast leveling build that will help you get through the content, and after this you can choose whatever end-game build you think is best.

Rift Warrior Builds for Fast Leveling

Paragon or Riftblade are widely accepted as the best builds for Warriors in Rift for quick leveling.

Paragon

The paragon soul is the most efficient soul to level up with because they have an array or ranged attacks and deal good damage.

A lot of people who play Rift like using large two handed weapons, but if you go from any soul to Paragon, your damage is sure to go up by a significant amount. Also, your character will most likely become more durable and have better abilities in range.

Paragon does great with damage in melee. In fact Paragon does more melee damage than any other soul.

When you are deciding for support souls, I recommend choosing Riftblade and Champion. If you choose Riftblade, and equip yourself with it as one of the souls, you will get Air Blade ability. This is a buff that is passive which improves your damage. You will also get Raging Bull after choosing Champion. This makes it a heck of a lot easier to changed monsters. Also, Slayer’s Bearing is awesome because it is a passive buff, and it makes your damage go up by five percent, plus it only makes you use four Champion Tree points..

The passive buffs are fairly easy to obtain, and will improve your Paragon’s damage without you having to put much effort in.

Of course you are going to be leveling up further and further, and you’re going to want to increase your damage further. I would recommend that you climb the Paragon tree, and place your extra points in Riftblade. Elemental Blade, and Elemental Touch are also worth checking out because they raise damage so much.

Riftblade

Riftblade is quite a crazy class. It has you using casting abilities to deal with the elemental damage. This class is unique and pretty awesome due to the fact that it doesn’t need caster-oriented gear to deal damage.

Even though you aren’t going to be dealing as much damage as you would be if you were a normal caster, the damage is still reasonably close. Plus with Riftblade you will have the ability to wear a plate, and have more HP than you could otherwise.

One awesome bonus that you get from using this is that you will no longer have to use mana. So you can pretty much cast until your fingers fall off.

This class has the ability to deal damage from range which can be really good when you get involved in PvP and Rifts. But if you play melee, you are going to be very vulnerable to being attacked in Invasions, Rifts, or PvP.

But Riftblade can be pretty cool when it sits back and picks off monsters using casting from the casters. It is also good at snaring and kiting elite monsters. This makes it good to use in Rift encounters.

Rift Warrior Builds Wrap Up

It obviously depends on what you are going to be doing in Rift, when you are deciding what build to go with. For regular players that aren’t expecting to participate in Rift events and Invasions, I’d recommend Riftblade as a very effective, safe leveling build.
